Event Hire Booking

To confirm your hire items we require a non-refundable deposit of £100 this is the booking deposit which secures your event date . If your deposit is not paid within 7 days, you will need to recheck the availability of your date. The final balance is due 8 weeks before your event unless agreed otherwise.

Do You take a security/Damage deposit?

Yes, we also take a security/damage deposit at the time of your final balance payment.All bookings are subject to a damage deposit up to a maximum of 100% of the total bill, with a minimum of £150. You will receive a PayPal invoice .

Your security/damage deposit is returned once we have checked and collected items and are refunded via the same payment method within 3 working days after your event, minus any charges for the following: unauthorised relocation , visible damage, vandalism, missing items, and/or additional hire time other than that which has been previously agreed. If the amount exceeds the value of the damages deposit a supplementary invoice will be issued for immediate payment. Should you wish to receive a full breakdown of replacement charges before you make your booking please contact us.

What is your hire period?

Our hire period is for the day up until 11pm. In some circumstances we may be able to extend collection until midnight for an additional £50. Please contact us to discuss.(please note that there are charges for unsociable collection and drop off hours)

If it is not possible to collect at the pre-arranged time, additional hire time will be deducted from your damage deposit as appropriate. Should you wish for a longer hire period please get in touch to discuss extended rates.

Is my deposit refundable?

Sorry, deposits are not refundable. A deposit is required as security for your booking. By paying your booking deposit, you are securing the items you have requested for that date and we make those items unavailable to others once your deposit is received.

How long is my quote valid for?

Your quote is valid for 7 days, however please note that your booking is not confirmed until we have received your deposit.

Set Up & Breakdown
The event hire price quoted includes full installation and breakdown.

Please ensure that you have taken all necessary measurements of the area(s) for set up prior to booking, noting any low ceilings, uneven flooring and fixtures/fittings in close proximity. If it is not possible to install in the pre-arranged area, a member of the installation team will agree the next best location with you or your venue.

Due to the structure of our backdrops and arches we respectfully ask that they are not relocated by anybody other than an employee of Boutique Backdrops. Evidence of risk to the integrity of the structure by relocation will incur a deduction from your damage deposit. If you would like the backdrop/arch moved during your event, please contact us for fee info.

Delivery 
Delivery and collection is not included in our hire charges and will be calculated as an additional cost when booking. Please ensure that there is sufficient access for unloading and parking on the day of your event, Boutique Backdrops is not liable for any delays in accessing your venue at the agreed set up time.

Cancellation/Amendments
In the event that you need to cancel your booking, all payments to date will be retained. Should you need to change the date of your event we will endeavour to provide the items you require for your new date, however we cannot be held responsible if the new date is not available. We recommend that you purchase wedding/event insurance to cover any losses in the event of cancellation on your part. In the event that we cancel your booking, all payments made to date would be refunded in full.

Photography
Boutique Backdrops reserves the right to use any photography of our products and services taken during the hire period, however we will seek further permission to use any pictures of your guests. Photographs are used for promotional purposes on our website and/or social media. If you have any objections to this please let us know in writing prior to your event.
